Swiss replica watchmaker Hublot has joined forces with Italian menswear brand Berluti on limited edition Classic Fusion timepieces.

The collection features 250 pieces of the Berluti Scritto which uses tobacco-coloured leather and rose gold as well as 500 pieces of the Berluti All Black which features black leather and black ceramic.

“Style or nothing. After jeans and lace, we wanted to carry on exploring ways to dress our dials and bracelets with legendary textiles. Berluti is known for selling leather goods to famous artists such as Frank Sinatra and Andy Warhol and has created bespoke leather straps and dials for the collection.

The Scritto strap, for example, is engraved with 18th century-inspired calligraphy, while the all black strap uses black leather marked with the Gaspard incision, a Berluti House signature. It also features a black leather dial signed by Berluti.

Hublot announced its latest high-profile partnership — and introduced its newest limited-edition timepiece — on April 20, during New York’s Madison Avenue Watch Week. The new replica Hublot Big Bang Sang Bleu is a totally redesigned version of the brand’s Big Bang Unico, with a dial design, and timekeeping system, inspired by the work of Swiss tattoo artist Maxime Büchi.

The design motif continues seamlessly into the black calfskin strap, which is sewed onto rubber and hot-stamped in a gradient from black to gray. Hublot and The Replica Watch Gallery have embarked on a third collaboration together that has culminated in the launch of two limited edition timepieces.
